He grew up looking at pottery because there was the environment which has a place of production very near. He spent his boyhood caring of a garden tree and so on with his father, and bonsai became a hobby naturally. It was the beginning to have burned the pot at a tile maker's kiln for his loving tree. In 1960 (Showa 35), Self-kiln was set. After the encounter and devotion to the work of Sanshu-ichiyo, he started to make the practical pot by obtaining instruction of the seniors of a ceramic art world. |
